Vegas, Birthday & Bowling

Wow what a busy month February was, So I haven't blogged in awhile. First of all it was my birthday so Mike my wonderful husband surprised me and we went for a little weekend get away in Las Vegas. He had the whole trip planned and even lined up a sitter for Braxton. It was so nice. The weather wasn't that great but just to get away and have him think of me and plan everything was so special. Thanks babe, your the best.

Then we had my nephew Breson's b-day and he turned 5. So we went down to SLC and went bowling for his party. What a great time it was. Wow we probably hadn't bowled since his last years party. It was fun to see everyone and hang out. This was Braxton's first time bowling and he wanted to be a big kid like his cousins. So we got the ramp out and let him bowl. Such a big boy.

Then we had a trip at the end of February planned to Laughlin, Nevada. We had been waiting and counting down the days for this trip to get into the nice weather. It was 73 degrees down there and beautiful. Brax did so good on the car ride, we made sure to bring plenty of toys and books to keep him entertained. We stayed at the Tropicana Express and they have a train that runs around the hotel so that was a lot of fun. We met Mike's aunt Sonya and Uncle Paul down there and they showed us around. The his cousin Tonya and Jimbo met us all and we took a trip to Oatman to see the donkey's run wild in this little ghost town. Brax got to feed the donkey's carrots (along with dad and Jimbo that are like kids themselves). They also had a western shoot out. That was fun. I think Tonya and I jumped way more that Braxton did. It didn't even seem to phase him. He was such a trooper on this trip. We enjoyed the pool at the hotel and Paul and Sonya enjoyed the hot tub. Since it is a casino you can't gamble with you kiddos, so Mike and I took Brax to the arcade they had. That was fun to watch Mike be a kid and play pac man. Brax and I played the racing cars and riding the bullet bike. What a great trip and wonderful weather. Thank you Paul and Sonya for taking us around. It was great to see you guys. Thank you Tonya and Jimbo for coming down for the day. We are glad you got to meet Braxton.

So that has been our February. We are so looking forward to spring and summer to be here. We are so over this cold snowy weather.
